Gwen's Bio
As a long time resident of Northwest Oklahoma, Gwen Rutz brings over a decade of experience to the art of increasing productivity through organization and nearly 3 decades of experience in seeing lives changed through ministry. Her gift for organizing and her passion to share the gospel have led her to start both a professional organizing business and ministry by the same name, A Place for Space.
Gwen is a professional organizer and coach that believes organized people are less stressed and genuinely happier. She applies unique and individualized organizational techniques that fit each client’s personal situation and style of learning. Whether you are obsessively organized, chronically disorganized or somewhere in between Gwen will share helpful information that stirs your creativity. Through her quick wit and humor, Gwen teaches us to look at ourselves, laugh at ourselves, learn from ourselves and love ourselves. Her mission is to get you back on track, increase your focus, and accelerate your productivity. In her workshops she will provide a variety of simple, sensible, and sound techniques for getting your possessions, your information, and YOU organized. Gwen’s abilities reach across socio-economic boundaries as she has taught organizational skills to teachers, nurses, and corporate executives, as well as homemakers and college students.
Gwen is also a minister, speaker and praise and worship leader. She is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God fellowship and enjoys preaching the gospel and seeing lives touched by the power of God. Gwen, alongside her husband Troy, has led cell groups ministering to the needs of families.
For 18 years Gwen faithfully served as Worship Leader at her local church. Along with leading worship, much of the experience she has gained has come from traveling throughout the United States as a musician and vocalist for a popular gospel singing group. Gwen is a member of Faithful Organizers as well a member of the Community Education Council.
Gwen is available for speaking engagements as well as workshops and seminars. Spending a day with Gwen in A Place for Space Conferences will more than warm your heart. Gwen is blessed to be married to Prince Charming (aka - Troy Rutz). Troy and Gwen have been blissfully married for 23 years and are looking forward to the next 100. Their oldest son Trey, his wife Janelle and their youngest son Shain live in the small town of Seiling as well. Their parents are happy!
